In spring 2017 the homemaking intervention Anthroponix collaborated with microbiologists, agro-ecological tinkerers and 22 indoor planting enthusiasts to enter a three-month long experimentation of co-biohacking and co-learning. The basic goal was to enable our participants so that they could biophysically reconnect with the food loop, in a way that would be simple and suitable for their busy lives. The practical outcome of this an immense group effort (of collective trial and error, stumbling forward, respectful failing and persevering), this article presents an instructable for the application of stabilized urine in small-scale water-based horticulture for indoor use and window gardens. The step by step guide is not a rock-solid solution, rather a starting point for further tinkering.
